Fiction, non-fiction, classics, children's and a deep local-interest shelf for Shropshire and the Welsh borders. Stock ranges from this year's paperbacks to the more antiquarian, and it turns over constantly, so the find you did not know you needed is usually here on the day.
The music side of the shop
A proper second-hand music corner: vinyl records, CDs and DVDs alongside the books. Crate diggers welcome. We buy as well as sell, so bring a box in and we will take a look.
Single shelves to whole houses
We buy books, vinyl, CDs and DVDs, and we run a house-clearance service for large collections. Please phone ahead on 01952 727992 so we can plan it properly, whether it is one box or a whole library.

Books by the metre and by the yard for interior decorators, film and television set dressing, shopfits and personal libraries. Tell us the look, the colours and the run, and we will pull it together from the stock.
For more than twenty years Much More Books was run by one family, the little shop that grew to forty thousand books and a music corner of its own. When they retired in 2025, the shop went up for sale. In March 2026 it found Abi Nutting, twenty-four, a lifelong reader who had always wanted a bookshop of her own.

The plan is simple: keep what generations of customers in Much Wenlock already love about the shop, and put a fresh stamp on it. Same shelves, same forty thousand books, same well behaved dogs at the door, a new chapter at the same address.
